A little bit about me
- I'm currently living in Northern California, enjoying the access to nature
- At work, I build AI agents and the software around them at Equilibrium Energy, a startup that makes tools for people who run and plan the power grid
- In my personal life, I am running trail ultra marathons and taking on personal projects.
- My superpowers are finding new solutions to old problems with AI, finding new solutions to new problems caused by AI, and my ability to execute
My work
- I own the core platform that AI agents run on inside Equilibrium's product. The bet is that our software should be built around agents from the ground up, not as a thin AI layer on top.
- I also own internal developer tooling on top of that stack, plus benchmarks so we know when an assistant is ready to ship and when it still needs work.
Me personally
- I run trail ultramarathons. That is where I practice endurance and problem solving when it gets hard.
- I am a cancer survivor. Resilience and showing up matter a lot to how I work.
- I take on daunting challenges. I work hard. I care a lot about my life and the people in it.
Things I believe
- As the ability to build anything becomes trivial, knowing what to build and having the taste to do it becomes paramount
- Leave things better than the way you found them
- Focus is the prerequisite for anything great in the world. It is often undervalued and undergiven.
Some things I am proud of
- The product I built, the Strategy Workbench, was launched on stage at 2025 New York Climate Week as Equilibrium Energy's showcase AI product.
- I am a founding member of Equilibrium's team building AI agents for the energy industry, at the center of how those agents are designed and shipped
Some things I am working on
- Woodworking. A set of double Adirondack chairs.
- Deep End Fitness instructor.
